In 1999 the Medical Ethics Alliance was convened with Dr Jafar Qureshi of the Muslim Council of Britain.
It therefore is a pleasure to link with Dr Majid Katme of the Islamic Medical Association and this zoom meeting (click here).
It gives a good account of the Muslim contribution to historic medical ethics and the Hippocratic tradition.
The Medical Ethics Alliance looks to the Hippocratic tradition as found in the Declaration of Geneva (1948) for inspiration.
